1
00:00:00.001 --> 00:00:02.151
The most important thing
of all I think

2
00:00:02.176 --> 00:00:04.319
that we have discovered
over the years

3
00:00:04.344 --> 00:00:08.335
and working with all of these
thousands of refugees,

4
00:00:08.814 --> 00:00:13.308
and that included you know perhaps
half of them have been children,

5
00:00:13.444 --> 00:00:16.107
so we're talking about
somewhere around 2000 children

6
00:00:16.132 --> 00:00:19.075
have come here from
all parts of the world,

7
00:00:19.100 --> 00:00:22.530
the thing that has been
the most important discovery for us,

8
00:00:22.555 --> 00:00:27.197
or experience for us has
been meeting these people

9
00:00:27.222 --> 00:00:30.655
and falling in love with them
over and over and over again

10
00:00:30.680 --> 00:00:33.404
just thinking, "Oh what
beautiful children these are,

11
00:00:33.429 --> 00:00:36.744
what beautiful children!"
So that the differences

12
00:00:36.769 --> 00:00:41.175
and cultures and races,
colors, religions, whatever,

13
00:00:41.343 --> 00:00:43.728
that have become insignificant

14
00:00:43.753 --> 00:00:50.287
compared to feeling that these are
my brothers, my sisters, my children.

15
00:00:50.312 --> 00:00:53.601
These are beautiful beautiful
children that we love

16
00:00:53.626 --> 00:00:54.862
year after year.

17
00:00:55.042 --> 00:00:59.164
You know this playground out here
that maybe you can see behind me,

18
00:00:59.363 --> 00:01:04.625
that playground usually is full of
5, 10, 15 children

19
00:01:04.650 --> 00:01:08.454
swinging and sliding and having fun.

20
00:01:08.595 --> 00:01:11.794
How can you not love
all those children?

21
00:01:11.819 --> 00:01:15.578
All the old ideas
of politics and racism

22
00:01:15.603 --> 00:01:17.715
and religious differences and things,

23
00:01:17.740 --> 00:01:21.469
those become less
and less significant.
