1
00:00:00.098 --> 00:00:03.101
Actually there have been a
lot of challenges.
2
00:00:03.126 --> 00:00:08.570
For us, in UYN, because
we are a Peace Church
3
00:00:08.595 --> 00:00:10.852
and we value peace.
4
00:00:10.877 --> 00:00:12.852
But there was a huge challenge
5
00:00:12.877 --> 00:00:16.586
more especially for we the pastors
coming down our members
6
00:00:16.611 --> 00:00:20.204
and telling them not to retaliate
7
00:00:20.229 --> 00:00:27.087
and telling them to still co-exist
alongside with our Muslim brothers.
8
00:00:27.112 --> 00:00:32.337
And never once have we ever
thought even once to retaliate
9
00:00:32.362 --> 00:00:37.899
or to attack them or to take
revenge. We have not.
10
00:00:37.924 --> 00:00:40.469
The Bible has been our
source of comfort.
11
00:00:40.494 --> 00:00:44.235
In Matthew chapter five and
maybe verse eleven and twelve
12
00:00:44.260 --> 00:00:48.249
that says Blessed are you when
people persecute you for no cause
13
00:00:48.274 --> 00:00:50.673
for so they have done
to the prophets before you
14
00:00:50.698 --> 00:00:53.141
and the greatest is they were
rewarded in heaven.
15
00:00:53.166 --> 00:00:55.694
So that one is
the has covered everything
16
00:00:55.719 --> 00:00:58.780
that is not because of where
the church has done anything wrong
17
00:00:58.805 --> 00:01:00.577
that the world is persecuting
the church.
18
00:01:00.602 --> 00:01:03.507
Ever since from
the bad time of the church
19
00:01:03.532 --> 00:01:05.351
the church had been
suffering violence.
20
00:01:05.376 --> 00:01:08.959
And up to that the church is not
even immune from violence
21
00:01:08.984 --> 00:01:11.775
and the Bible is our comfort.
22
00:01:11.800 --> 00:01:15.179
If you go to John chapter six
where Jesus says
23
00:01:15.204 --> 00:01:19.368
it's chapter sixteen verse one
and two that says time will come
24
00:01:19.393 --> 00:01:22.656
that people even kill you and they
will say they will be working for God.
25
00:01:22.681 --> 00:01:24.766
And this is what we had seen.
26
00:01:24.791 --> 00:01:27.686
People will come Allah Akbar
call in the name of God
27
00:01:27.711 --> 00:01:31.297
that God is the greatest and killing
people, slaughtering people.
28
00:01:31.322 --> 00:01:35.078
So what difference does it make?
It's what I've already said.
29
00:01:35.103 --> 00:01:36.359
That is happening.
