00:00:00.001 --> 00:00:05.914
Maundy Thursday is always
celebration of the confidence

2
00:00:05.939 --> 00:00:11.040
that has been built by this
church for many many decades.

3
00:00:11.065 --> 00:00:13.867
When people do not mind to come

4
00:00:13.892 --> 00:00:17.352
and sit here in the service,
in the liturgy,

5
00:00:17.377 --> 00:00:19.555
participate in foot washing

6
00:00:19.580 --> 00:00:26.118
and I was very moved to see here
people from Muslim tradition,

7
00:00:26.143 --> 00:00:31.598
Yazidis and others, representatives
of the LGBTQ community.

8
00:00:31.623 --> 00:00:36.610
And one of the persons
that was like homecoming

9
00:00:36.635 --> 00:00:40.297
because being a member
of the LGBTQ community

10
00:00:41.178 --> 00:00:47.188
the person saw that he
was cut away from God

11
00:00:47.213 --> 00:00:50.696
and he could not be
a part of God's community.

12
00:00:50.721 --> 00:00:53.204
And she was in tears yesterday.

13
00:00:53.229 --> 00:00:58.875
So I'm very humbled to
serve this community

14
00:00:58.900 --> 00:01:01.266
and build this confidence.

15
00:01:01.291 --> 00:01:05.047
And I would like to believe
that generations to come

16
00:01:05.072 --> 00:01:08.649
will benefit from it from either side,

17
00:01:08.674 --> 00:01:10.585
both from Muslim and Jewish

18
00:01:10.610 --> 00:01:13.965
or Yazidi side and then in Christian side.
