00:00:00.200 --> 00:00:02.566
As an organization
we practice meditation.

2
00:00:02.566 --> 00:00:06.680
Every day we start with the staff
of having time for meditation,

3
00:00:06.680 --> 00:00:08.560
the practice of mindfulness,

4
00:00:08.560 --> 00:00:14.880
the practice of being fully aware of
what is going on within me.

5
00:00:14.880 --> 00:00:19.040
And being also fully
present in the moment

6
00:00:19.040 --> 00:00:22.720
and to be able to distinguish
all of these factors within me

7
00:00:22.720 --> 00:00:26.640
and conscious of all the different
conversations that are taking place

8
00:00:26.640 --> 00:00:29.400
in my head in my
thinking as well.

9
00:00:29.400 --> 00:00:32.280
And to begin to understand that
these are conversations,

10
00:00:32.280 --> 00:00:35.120
these are thoughts, these are ideas
and these thoughts and ideas

11
00:00:35.120 --> 00:00:38.640
of course always
trigger emotions within us.

12
00:00:38.640 --> 00:00:41.800
And then, we see the connection
between the mental,

13
00:00:41.800 --> 00:00:45.200
the physical, the emotional,
the spiritual, all as one.

14
00:00:45.200 --> 00:00:48.520
And if we want to talk about
peacemaking as individuals,

15
00:00:48.520 --> 00:00:52.800
If we are not able to reach
a space where there is peace

16
00:00:52.800 --> 00:00:55.320
in these realms in our lives

17
00:00:55.320 --> 00:00:57.320
then we cannot really
develop that leadership

18
00:00:57.320 --> 00:00:59.320
that can bring this into
the community.
